What is American Witness?

American Witness is a newsletter chronicling the destruction the Trump administration is wreaking on this nation, with the goal of explaining the implications and consequences of Trump’s actions so that we all face this era with our eyes wide open.

I studied law at Harvard Law School, public policy at Georgetown University, global governance and diplomacy at the University of Oxford, and finance at the University of Wisconsin. I am here to share my understanding and expertise with the American people.

I believe knowledge is power and that mis- and disinformation are the greatest threats to American democracy. American Witness exists to arm Americans with as much knowledge about current events and their implications as possible, especially from legal, economic, and public policy standpoints.

My goal is to bear witness to the harms inflicted upon us by this administration so that together we can hold the rest of America accountable and fight back against our country’s current trajectory—into an authoritarian regime.

Together, we can take back the country and secure our constitutional democracy for future generations.
